Clapo Surf Camp in Imsouane is founded by two brothers, Abderrahim and Houssine, and the invaluable help of their Berber mom, Aïcha. Together they offer an authentic Moroccan surf way of life. Immerse yourself in their passion for surfing, a deep love for Moroccan culture, and the warmth of traditional food.
Expert Surf Coaching
Clapo Surf Camp teachers compete nationally and internationally. We are professional moroccan surfers, on top of being certified instructors by the federation and ISA. We’re all from different surf towns & horizons so you can pick techniques and practice what interests you the most from us.
CUSTOM SURF experience
In Clapo Surf Camp we accompany you individually with private lessons in Imsouane or guiding sessions in moroccan secret spots based on your goals and level. For groups, quality over quantity, 5 people max per coach to guarantee best progress in the water. Many groups possible of course.

And aroundWe’re based in a little fishermen authentic village called Imsouane, whose litteral translation from Berber means the drinking (ssew) mouth (Imi), as the ocean rushes into the bay.
It’s a peaceful place where most lose track of days surfing surrounded by mountains. It’s home to two iconic surf spots, side-to-side and complementary meaning you can surf all day long. It’s quite simple here… the kind of simple you don’t want to leave.
