Booking and Cancellation Policy
Booking Terms
A 15% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
The deposit applies toward the total cost of your journey and is subject to the cancellation terms below.
The 15% deposit has to be paid within 7 days of the booking in order to guarantee the room. Your booking will be valid, once the required amount has been transferred to our bank account and you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
With the payment you agree to all the terms and conditions.
If we don’t receive the deposit within 7 days we might cancel your booking and free the room for other guests.
The remaining balance and any additional costs arising during the vacation such as food, drinks and activities have to be paid latests at departure by cash (€ or MAD) or by transfer with a transfer confirmation.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we aim to be fair while maintaining the sustainability of our services.
General Terms for Cancellations:
Any cancellations, whether partial or for the entirety of the initial reservation, must be accepted by the Surf Camp.
However, the surf camp reserves the right to refuse any request for changes to the services without providing justification.
If the establishment does not accept the cancellation or modification, the reservation remains valid under the original terms, and the Surf Camp cannot be held liable for any compensation or indemnity.
Any stay reserved or commenced at the surf camp must be paid in full, as per the reservation made by the guest.
No reduction or refund will be granted in the event of no-show or early departure by the guest, regardless of the reason.
Specific Cancellation & Modifications Deadlines and Refunds
60 days or more before the start of your journey : The 15% deposit will be fully refunded.
30 to 59 days before the start of your journey : The 15% deposit is non-refundable. No additional charges will apply.
15 to 29 days before the start of your journey : The 15% deposit is non-refundable. An additional 35% of the total journey cost is due by the guest, bringing the total amount due to 50% of the total journey cost.
Less than 15 days before the start of your journey : No refund will be provided. The total journey cost (100%) is due by the guest.
For any group bookings that include 3 rooms or more the following special rules of deposit and payment apply:
A 25% non refundable deposit of the entire booking has to be transferred within 7 days. Otherwise we might cancel the reservation.
Same deadlines conditions apply but with 25% deposit.
The full price is due and non refundable 8 weeks prior arrival in order to guarantee the reservation.
Payments by card will have a surcharge of 5%.
Transfer
Clapo Surf Morocco will not take responsibility or refund transfers in any case of unexpected and uncontrollable delays. The booked transfer price will be paid according to the booking and be aware that it's always for one way. For a two way transfer, 2 one ways transfers need to be mentioned in your reservation. Modifications of pickups and drop offs can only be made till 1 week before the arrival, later modifications cannot be guaranteed and may cause extra charges.
Check in & Check out
Check ins for all rooms are at 3pm and check out is at 11am.
Health / Insurance and Safety
All guests enter the water at their own risk. Every person who enters the ocean must be able to swim and is fully responsible for their own safety. We don’t take responsibility and assume no liability nor cover any cost of injuries caused by uncontrollable or unexpected situations or of any accidents occurring on our hotel site or during our offered activities and excursion. Every guest is responsible to have his own travel health insurance or any other health insurance covering the holiday in Morocco. Every guest has to confirm that they're from a medical and point of view fit to participate in our activities. In any case of health issues that cause complications and or affect your stay should be communicated with us before arrival. That includes any sort of allergies or respiratory diseases. Every guest is fully self responsible to carry medication as well as epipens or asthma inhalers on him if needed. For medical assistance during your stay at Clapo Surf Morocco, each client ought to have a medical card and insurance and a contract a travel insurance.
Responsibilities
Clapo Surf Morocco does not accept any responsibilities or any refunds in the following circumstances:
When the clients are responsible for anything that causes problems with our service.
When a third party is responsible for anything that causes problems with our service.
Due to unpredictable conditions with unexpected consequences like weather, traffic or any higher causes beyond the control of the company.
Damage and Loss
The fee of losing the room key handed to our guests costs 60€. We don’t take responsibility of any lost or stolen items of our guests.
Each guest is responsible for the booked hotel equipment during its use. In case of loss or damage to hotel property including surfing equipment, the guest bears full responsibility and is responsible for the cost of repair or replacement, as well as for the depreciation of the property estimated by the hotel owner or hotel manager.
Damage caused at our hotel needs to be reported straight away and voluntarily to the company owners through the front desk. Depending on the amount of damage and the events leading to the damage additional fees might arise to cover the costs.
Privacy Policy
By entering the email address in the booking system our guests allow us to send further information and offers before and after their stay with us. Any guest who wants to be taken off that list can request so in written form by email to claposurfmorocco@gmail.com along with a copy of the piece of identity. Clapo Surf Morocco will have all rights of Photos and Videos taken of guests during their stay and is allowed to use them for publicity or promotional purposes.
Hotel Rules
Our hotel is a strictly non-smoking establishment. Smoking is only allowed outside in the open air areas on our hotel site.
External Guests and friends are welcome to join for dinner or activities by signing them up in advance with their full name and they are welcome during the day in our common areas. Uncommunicated accommodating of additional people in any hotel room is not allowed and will lead automatically to extra fees.
Our quiet time is from 0:00 until 07:00 am . Any noise other than room volume is not allowed. The only exception in a few cases are evening events, which are announced and organized for the guests by Clapo Surf Morocco.
Animals & pets
Animals are not allowed inside any of our hotel rooms or shared areas. Street animals are strictly forbidden on our entire compound at all time.
Prohibited Substances Policy
The possession, consumption, or introduction of illegal drugs, narcotics, controlled substances, or alcohol is strictly prohibited within the premises of the Surf House. This includes all guest rooms, common areas, and any other spaces within the property. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of the stay, without refund, and may be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities. Guests found to be in breach of this policy may also be held liable for any damages or disturbances caused as a result of their actions. By reserving a stay at the hotel, guests acknowledge and agree to adhere strictly to this policy.
Special Rights by Clapo Surf Morocco
Any violation of our hotel rules could lead to extra fines or exclusion from our establishment. In case of irresponsible behavior, Clapo Surf Morocco will take necessary steps to prevent any further problems which can be a non refunded cancellation of all booked services.
